The Brookland Cayce Boys tennis team defeated Gilbert at home on March 30 by a score of 4-2 to take first place in the Region standings. Witt Hook got B-C off to a good start with a 6-2 6-1 win over Jacob Smith at the #4 singles spot. Sanders Castles of B-C followed with a 6-4 6-3 win at #5 singles over Clay Wells. Owen Stikeleather of B-C finished next with a win over Nathan Meador at #3 singles in a tight match by a score of 4-6 6-3 1-0 (16-14). Camden then closed the gap to 3-2 as Payton Davis defeated Cameron Jeffcoat 6-2 6-2 at #1 singles and Parker Shealy defeated Bryson Sheppard 6-4 6-4 at #2 singles. Jase Jones and Alex Wright closed out the match for B-C with a 6-3 6-3 win over Saylor Hardee and Alex Ripacciuolo at the #2 doubles spot.
